American company Tigo is a world leader in Module Level Power Electronics with innovative solutions that increase energy production, improve safety and reduce operating costs of solar installations.
The Tigo power optimizer maximizes the benefits of photovoltaic systems:
- Increases performance through module-level optimization, e.g. when shading or other mismatches occur.
- reduces maintenance costs through module-level monitoring
- increases safety through the possibility to reduce or switch off production at module level
The Cloud Connect Advanced Kit includes the Cloud Connect Advanced Gateway and Datalogger and connects Cloud Smart Panels with Tigo Smart monitoring software.
The package does not include a waterproof box for placing the KIT.
The Gateway is installed on the roof near the panels and receives data from the panels within a 15m radius. It sends this data via RS485 lines to the Cloud Connect Advanced data logger and to the Tigo portal. This set allows the disconnection of communication at panel level via a sensor connection.
Attention - after the disconnect function has been triggered, the optimizers can only be disconnected again via Tigo support.

The Tigo optimizer is compatible with more than 200 inverters, waterproof and versatile. It connects very easily, within 10 seconds, to the PV module using a junction box and attaches to the module frame. Activation and troubleshooting is then done via an online app on your smartphone.
